At Ability Matters, we partner with schools and families to create inclusive, personalized, and community-based learning experiences for students with autism and other neurological disabilities. This is more than a teaching role. You’ll lead educational programming, mentor staff, and shape meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a team of Instructional Assistants & Paraprofessionals

  • Develop and oversee IEPs aligned with student goals

  • Provide direct, individualized instruction

  • Use data to guide teaching strategies and progress

  • Collaborate with families, schools, and service providers

  • Support student growth, transitions, and long-term success

This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred

  • Valid Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organization.

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation.
