We are seeking 10 Interpretation and Education Interns for a full-time, paid internship at a historic NPS site from May 11 to July 31, 2026, in Atlanta, GA.
Participants will develop a digital program focused on the 1965 Voting Rights Act, including an interactive timeline, augmented reality experiences, and personal story profiles to enhance visitor engagement and education.
Key objectives include informing visitors about civil rights history, providing immersive digital experiences, and fostering civic responsibility.
Eligibility requires being a senior or recent graduate of an HBCU (within 2 years), holding a valid driver’s license, and committing to 12 weeks full-time.
This internship offers hands-on experience, professional growth, and the opportunity to impact public history sharing in national parks.
