Internet & BDC Manager

Family-owned Wendle Ford Nissan in Spokane, WA is looking for a strong, process-driven leader to take ownership of our internet sales and BDC (Business Development Center) performance. This role is responsible for ensuring every lead is handled quickly, professionally, and consistently - while working closely with Sales Managers, BDC, and Marketing to improve performance and maintain clear, repeatable processes across the dealership. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, communication, and accountability.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, text, email, and video
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to hold team members accountable and drive process adherence
  • Solid technical skills, including Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of automotive sales, BDC, or related experience
  • Experience coaching or leading a team
  • Experience with CDK, eLead, or similar systems
  • Experience with internet leads and BDC operations

Schedule & Pay:

  • $75,000 - $100,000 + bonus opportunities
  • Primarily Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Flexibility required to support internet activity and digital operations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the daily performance of internet sales and BDC operations
  • Ensure all lead handling standards are consistently followed (calls, texts, emails, response times, CRM usage)
  • Monitor and optimize CRM processes to ensure accurate data, consistent follow-up, and full team adoption
  • Evaluate lead sources, response times, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to align on lead distribution, follow-up strategy, and performance expectations
  • Lead training, coaching, and accountability for consistent execution across the team
  • Establish a consistent cadence for reviewing lead handling, CRM usage, and performance
  • Oversee and improve the online customer journey from lead submission through appointment and purchase
  • Ensure website and digital retailing tools are accurate and up to date (inventory, photos, pricing, specials)
  • Partner with vendors (CRM, website, lead providers) to ensure expectations are met and performance is optimized
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on lead performance, conversion trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Identify gaps in current processes and implement improvements to drive better results
