Position Information
The Minot State International Club is hiring International Club Officers. This position will cover approximately 2-3 hours per week for 24 weeks during the 2025-2026 academic year.
President The President presides over business meetings, prepares the agenda for the meetings, and represents the International Club at public events. The President will be responsible for the officers and members of the International Club. The President shall serve as a liaison between the International Club and Student Government Association as needed. The President will be required to fulfill at least three (3) office hours per week during the academic semester. Other duties as necessary.
Vice President The Vice President performs the duties of the President upon request or absence of the president. The Vice President shall coordinate the election process of officers. The Vice President shall make sure the International Club processes are kept organized and meetings are conducted as needed. The Vice President will be required to fulfill at least two (2) office hours per week during the academic semester. Other duties as necessary.
Secretary/Social Media Manager The Secretary/Social Media Manager takes minutes of all business meetings, circulates copies of the minutes to the members, and takes care of correspondence and public relations through social media. The Secretary/Social Media Manager will be required to fulfill at least two (2) office hours per week during the academic semester. Other duties as necessary.
Treasurer The Treasurer takes care of club financial matters. A report on financial balances will be given at every business meeting. The Treasurer shall deposit any Student Activity Fee funds received by the International Club into an account with Minot State University Business Office. The Treasurer will be required to fulfill at least two (2) office hours per week during the academic semester. Other duties as necessary.
Requirements: • Must be a member of the International Club. • Have strong communication and writing skills. • Must attend biweekly meetings, as needed, with the advisor. • Must maintain a 2.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
