Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Proven proficiency in endoscopy procedures and outpatient management
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and prioritize patient care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques or research background in gastroenterology
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology practice
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including nights and weekends
- Compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and regulatory requirements
