As a Food Execution Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing Maverik's food programs to life across our stores. This position serves as the bridge between Food Service and Operations, ensuring food safety, training, execution, and consistency across multiple locations. Through store visits, coaching, and operational support, you''ll help drive exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and program compliance.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based in St George and supports stores throughout Maverik's operating footprint. Overnight and daily travel up to 50% is required. This position supports a 24/7 operation, and occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work may be necessary.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Food Execution Manager partners closely with store operations and food service teams to ensure consistent execution of Maverik's food programs. This role provides coaching, training, food safety oversight, and operational support while helping launch new initiatives, supporting store openings and remodels, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cultivate a strong 1Maverik culture between Food Service and Operations teams to drive consistent training, communication, and execution.
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate food program performance and provide coaching to store teams, leadership, and District Managers.
- Develop, administer, and maintain food safety programs, policies, procedures, and compliance standards across Maverik Foodservice, BonFire Grill, and Cinnabon locations.
- Partner with Operations to ensure planograms, signage, merchandising standards, and ordering practices are properly implemented and maintained.
- Support new store openings and remodels through foodservice area setup, training, and operational readiness activities.
- Lead and support implementation of new food initiatives, products, processes, and training materials while ensuring successful adoption across stores.
- Provide coaching and training on Kitchen Production System (KPS) utilization and best practices.
- Participate in district-level meetings to discuss foodservice performance, food safety initiatives, and operational opportunities.
- Monitor food quality, safety, productivity, and waste management practices to maximize sales and operational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance foodservice execution.
You''ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 2+ years of progressive experience in foodservice operations, food safety, food handling, restaurant management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and safe food handling practices.
- Experience coaching, training, and influencing teams in a multi-location or operational environment.
- Ability to travel extensively and build strong partnerships with store leadership and field operations teams.
- Experience utilizing technology and reporting tools such as Excel, Windows applications, POS systems, QSR platforms, or similar operational systems.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational opportunities and drive execution through coaching and accountability.

- Bachelor''s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Associate degree in a related discipline combined with relevant foodservice leadership experience.
- Experience supporting multi-unit foodservice, convenience retail, restaurant, or quick-service restaurant operations.
- Food Safety certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent.
- Experience supporting store openings, remodels, operational rollouts, or large-scale training initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $67,960 - $83,010 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate''s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
