Internal Control Specialist/Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and hands‑on Internal Control Manager to strengthen our accounting function and ensure robust internal controls across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain internal control frameworks and policiesEvaluate and improve accounting and operational processes to mitigate riskEnsure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulationsLead internal audits and coordinate external audit activitiesIdentify control gaps and recommend corrective actionsSupport month‑end and year‑end close processes from a controls perspectivePartner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen internal controls across operations and manufacturingMonitor inventory controls, costing processes, and supply‑chain risksPrepare reports and present findings to senior leadershipTrain staff on internal control best practices and compliance standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)5+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or internal controlsStrong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO)Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central and internal control documentationExperience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments preferredHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work both strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑paced environmentStrong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
