    The Internal Consultant is responsible for coordinating activities and operations in their assigned division. This role works with stakeholders both internal and external to the division to provide an initial assessment of new initiatives or projects and define scope and resources required to provide successful impact. The Internal Consultant acts as an internal Lean expert for the division to align work and resources with organizational Lean efforts, and this role also provide Lean education and support to division efforts. The scope of each assignment will be defined in the formal offer letter.

     


    Essential Job Function:

    • Serves as consultant to internal and external peers on quality tools, resources, and work flows on improvement initiatives.
    • Serves as a quality project leader for system wide quality performance improvement initiatives and is therefore responsible for managing complex, cross departmental undertaking.
    • Serves as liaison to external agencies promoting collaborative initiatives to provide contact point.
    • Coordinates projects across the assigned division to eliminate duplicate efforts and promote efficient work across departments.
    • Assists leaders with development of goals which cascade and align to organization strategic initiatives and develop road maps and reporting to track ownership of and progress towards achieving these goals.
    • Provides summary feedback and support to leaders within division on budgets to promote financial stewardship of division.
    • Provides oversight for relationships with vendors for outcomes benchmarking.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education:

    • Required: Bachelor's Degree.


    Experience:

    • Required: 7 years.
