Position Summary
The Internal Communications Specialist plays a vital role in keeping Morgan Properties employees informed, connected, and engaged across a large, geographically distributed workforce. This position is the hands-on owner of the companys day-to-day internal communications - translating strategic direction into polished, on-brand content that reaches the right employees, through the right channels, at the right time.
This is an execution-focused individual contributor role. Working under the guidance of the Director, Employee Experience, the Specialist is responsible for writing and producing communications across a broad range of channels - from email campaigns and intranet content to digital signage, mobile/SMS, and leadership messaging. The role requires a skilled storyteller who can simplify complex information, adapt voice and tone for diverse audiences, and maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across every touchpoint.
Success in this role demands someone who is both detail-oriented and highly organized - someone who can manage a busy editorial calendar, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently deliver polished work on deadline. The Specialist also brings a collaborative mindset, building relationships across departments to surface employee stories, support communications for key initiatives, and ensure frontline employees who lack regular desk or email access are never left behind.
The core mission of this role is to make every Morgan Properties employee feel informed and valued - no matter where they work. The ideal candidate is adaptable, tech-savvy, and motivated by the challenge of communicating effectively at scale, including through emerging AI-assisted workflows that support the speed and reach our workforce demands.
