This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, minimizing errors, and driving continuous improvement across the distribution center.Work Type (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote): OnsiteShift Timings (If applicable): 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMResponsibilities:Conduct regular internal audits of warehouse and distribution processes to ensure compliance with company SOPs, and quality standards.Evaluate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping procedures for quality assurance.Perform a random and risk-based sampling of incoming parts and materials.Conduct periodic sampling of stored inventory to verify continued compliance with quality standards.Verify packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and conformance to purchase order specifications and document findings.Sample packed orders to ensure correct part numbers, quantities, and packaging materials are used.Inspect for proper labeling, barcoding, and documentation before shipment.Collaborate with shipping and customer service teams to address quality-related complaints or returns.Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and inventory control teams to implement process improvements.Maintain accurate audit records and prepare detailed reports for management review.Assist in developing audit schedules and quality training materials.Monitor calibration and maintenance of quality-related equipment (e.g., scales, scanners).Support root cause analysis and follow-up audits to verify effectiveness of corrective actions.Stay current with industry's best practices and regulatory changes.Knowledge/Education:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, or related field preferred).2+ years of experience in quality auditing, preferably in a warehouse or distributionFamiliarity with ISO 9001 standards and warehouse management systems (WMS)Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.Certification in internal auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor) is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk warehouse floors and climb ladders or stairs as neededLift up to 30 lbs occasionallyWork in varying temperature environments (depending on warehouse conditions)This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
