Position: Sales Trainee Intern

Calling all business majors! This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of entrepreneurship, business administration, recruiting, sales, and marketing with the number 1 insurance company. Interns will learn to be key support members within our agencies to help the company hit its growth goals.

Internship Timeframe

Hours
  • 11am- 5pm
  • Tuesday- Friday 
What will you take away from the opportunity?
  • Property and casualty license
  • Understanding of Michigan Insurance Laws
  • Creation of a State Farm business plan 
  • Sales strategies and prospecting techniques

State Insurance License Requirement
  • The Michigan Property and Casualty Exam will be completed by the end of the internship
Compensation
  • $1,000 per month base salary
  • Commission
  • Bonus
Expectations
  • 1,000 outbound calls per week
  • 20 new households per month
  • Agent given assignments
Compensation: $3,000.00 per year
