Client:
Our client is a premier New Jersey Architectural and Engineering firm offering full-service design with a single point of accountability. With in-house civil, structural, and MEP engineering, the firm provides fully integrated solutions across a wide range of projects.
Description:
Immediate need for an Intermediate-level Architect – Job Captain to develop mid-size projects in the NJ-NY-PA area. Should be hands-on with exceptional design as well as people skills. The desired Architectural Designer should have strong production, technical, and managerial skills; having experience with commercial, multi-family, mixed-use, educational, industrial, and retail projects.
Qualifications:- 4+ years of architectural experience particularly in commercial building design
- Experience with project management
- Experience with steel, concrete, and timber construction.
- Strong knowledge of NJ building codes and permitting.
- Knowledge of NY, NYC, and PA regulations is a plus.
- Proven experience with multifamily housing, educational, office, mixed-use, and industrial buildings
- Must have strong production and technical skills. Solid background in construction drawings.
- Experience as a Job Captain, Project Architect, or Project Manager with some client interaction
- Fluent in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (desired)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Education:
BS or BA Architecture or Master's in associated areas (prefer NJIT)
