Work Mode: Onsite 95% at SV8 Office

Responsibilities:

  • Develop interior equipment specifications, interior maintenance programs, and specifications.
  • Investigate reliability and serviceability problems, and design and develop corrective actions.
  • Provide technical interface with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Develop Engineering Orders to modify aircraft interior equipment and/or configurations.
  • Provide engineering support to Flight, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Aircraft Production.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum zero years of experience in aircraft engineering or related experience.
  • Familiarity with aircraft interiors, regulatory requirements, and company engineering practices preferred.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and work well with other groups.

Preferred Skills:

  • BS in Engineering (required, not Engineering Technology or Engineering Management), Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with airline processes and procedures, company experience preferred.
  • Experience with aircraft cabin electrical systems, WIFI, and/or IFE systems.
