Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Description
Collaborate with architects and project teams to develop interior design concepts for public and civic buildings. Prepare space planning, material selections, color palettes, and FF&E specifications. Produce detailed interior design drawings, renderings, and presentation materials. Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through construction. Conduct site visits and participate in construction administration to stay current with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and building codes. Work with the Lead Interior Designer on the development of design and construction documents and produce rendered floor plans and 3D images for projects. Assist with the selection of FF&E.

Work Environment
The firm is a recognized award-winning design practice with a strong reputation in public safety architecture. It offers a supportive and collaborative work environment with free parking and a brand-new office space located conveniently off I-95 in White Marsh. Employees typically come in 2 to 3 times a week, with flexibility depending on project needs. Initially, the Interior Designer will work in-office every day for the first month for onboarding and training with their supervisor. The interiors team consists of five people, providing a close-knit and dynamic environment for collaboration and professional growth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $50.00/hr.
