Interior Designer & Showroom Curator

Part-Time (Approx. 10-15 Hours Per Month + Design Appointments as Needed)

Help Create an Inspiring Design Experience

PC Home Center is looking for a creative, organized, and customer-focused Interior Designer & Showroom Curator to help bring our Design Studio and showroom spaces to life. This role blends interior design, showroom merchandising, product sourcing, and customer consultation to create an exceptional experience for homeowners, builders, remodelers,designers, and commercial clients.

What You'll Do

Showroom Design & Merchandising

• Curate and maintain inspiring showroom displays, vignettes, and product presentations.
• Select, source, and merchandise decor, accessories, samples, and display materials.
• Recommend seasonal updates, showroom refreshes, and new merchandising ideas.
• Ensure displays remain clean, organized, priced, and visually appealing.
• Create showroom environments that help customers visualize finished spaces.

Interior Design Services

• Meet with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and commercial clients for design consultations.
• Assist with paint colors, flooring, tile, cabinetry, lighting, finishes, decor, and material selections.
• Develop cohesive color palettes, room themes, and finish combinations.
• Guide customers toward selections that balance style, function, budget, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen & Bath Design Team.

Product & Vendor Coordination

• Source products and coordinate with vendors on showroom and display needs.
• Create and maintain SKU information, purchase orders, and product locations.
• Review order acknowledgements, monitor deliveries, and resolve product issues.
• Process damages, returns, credits, and showroom inventory updates.
• Support promotional displays, vendor showcases, and showroom events.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in interior design, showroom merchandising, retail display, home décor, kitchen & bath, flooring, paint, cabinetry, or a related field.
• Strong eye for color, finishes, space planning, and visual presentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of interior design or showroom experience.
• Interior design education, certification, coursework, or portfolio work.
• Experience working with homeowners, builders, remodelers, or commercial clients.
• Background in cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, lighting, paint, or related product categories.
• Experience creating mood boards, finish palettes, or model home selections.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ERP systems, or vendor management.
