Job Description:

We are seeking an Interior Designer with 3-8 years of experience to support projects from initial design through construction completion. In this role, you will help evaluate and solve design challenges across a variety of project types while collaborating closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure project success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on highly technical and design-focused projects across high-tech campuses, government facilities, industrial environments, laboratories, clean rooms, and corporate office spaces. With the majority of current work centered on industrial and office projects, the role requires both strong design skills and technical problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate is eager to take on increasing responsibility, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys contributing to exceptional projects from concept through construction.

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid position within a collaborative, design-focused office environment
  • Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
  • Employees may choose their in-office days and maintain a consistent schedule
  • Typical work week is 40 hours
  • Opportunities for occasional remote flexibility, including working while traveling during holidays
  • Exposure to all project phases from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
  • Participation in client meetings, site visits, as-builts, and consultant coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed interior design concepts and solutions
  • Assist in establishing project design criteria and functional requirements
  • Contribute to interior design project teams through all project phases
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, partners, and internal team members
  • Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Create high-quality digital presentations and design storytelling materials
  • Help develop creative and effective design solutions across a variety of project types
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project coordination efforts
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, depending on scope and complexity

Qualifications:

Must Have

  • 3-8 years of professional interior design experience
  • Bachelor"s degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Experience working on commercial or comparable project types
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with IBC and accessibility codes

Nice to Have

  • NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing licensure
  • Commercial interior design experience
  • Experience with industrial, laboratory, clean room, office, or high-tech projects
  • Experience participating in client presentations and consultant coordination
  • Previous experience mentoring junior team members or interns
  • Strong graphic design, visualization, and presentation skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lakewood, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
