What You'll Do
As an Interior Designer & Furniture Sales Consultant, you will:
- Partner with clients to create personalized, functional, and beautiful living spaces
- Provide expert guidance on furniture, fabrics, finishes, layouts, and home décor selections
- Develop customized design solutions that align with each client's style, needs, and budget
- Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and follow-up
- Achieve and exceed individual sales and showroom performance goals
- Stay informed on interior design trends, furniture collections, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with showroom leadership and fellow design consultants
- Maintain an inspiring, welcoming, and organized showroom environment
Qualifications
Required
- Proven success in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another client-focused environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for interior design, furniture, home décor, fashion, or lifestyle products
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and digital tools
- Ability to work a retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
Preferred
- Experience in interior design, furniture sales, home furnishings, luxury retail, or design consulting
- Background in consultative sales or commission-based sales environments
- Interior design education, certification, or related coursework
- Knowledge of residential space planning and furniture layout design
