Role Summary:
Seeking a talented registered Interior Designer with approximately 510 years of experience to work collaboratively on interior planning, design development, documentation, and client coordination across a variety of project types including aviation, civic, education, corporate/commercial, and hospitality.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work individually and collaboratively with project teams to develop innovative design solutions.
- Prepare programming, concept design, space planning, furnishings layouts, lighting design, and finish selections.
- Produce interior architectural detailing and comprehensive design documentation.
- Coordinate directly with clients and consultants throughout project phases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited university required.
- U.S. licensed Interior Designer or Registered Architectural license, or immediate ability to obtain Texas registration.
- 510 years of relevant interior design experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD (preference for Revit experience).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong interior design, detailing, and project documentation skills.
- Knowledge of commercial and institutional furniture, finishes, materials, and FFE specification.
- Current knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
- Legal authorization to work for any U.S. employer (no sponsorship).
Preferred Experience:
- Aviation experience preferred.
- LEED designation is a plus.
