We are hiring a licensed pharmacist for an interim Director of Pharmacy contract role at a hospital in St Louis, MO. You will use your clinical and operational expertise to open and lead a new pharmacy for an inpatient psychiatric/behavioral health site. Responsibilities include continuing pharmacy setup, procuring and packaging medications, stocking and managing Pyxis, verifying orders once patients are onsite, and communicating with C-suite and the Area Director of Pharmacy. Impacting Patient Care
You will lead the pharmacy opening at a new inpatient behavioral health site, ensuring safe medication distribution, establishing inventory and Pyxis workflows, and enabling medication therapy services for patients. Your work will support clinical operations from go-live through establishment of permanent leadership. Clear communication with executive leadership and the Area DOP is required.
