The role involves supporting patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation for biotechnology and life sciences innovations, working closely with patent attorneys.
Responsibilities include conducting prior art searches, analyzing patents and scientific literature, drafting patent applications, responding to USPTO office actions, and assisting with post-grant proceedings.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field or an M.D. with research experience and be USPTO-registered or eligible to sit for the exam.
Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and collaboration are essential.
The position is full-time, requiring at least three days in-office per week, with a salary range of $112,500 to $250,000.
