This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and experienced paralegal looking to join a dynamic and growing department where adaptability and initiative are key.Job Description:The IP Paralegal will work closely with attorneys across multiple departments to support a broad range of intellectual property matters. This includes both U.S. and international patent and trademark services, as well as supporting legal procedures, filings, and documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable navigating evolving processes.Key Responsibilities:Draft and file U.S. and foreign patent documents, including provisional and non-provisional applicationsMaintain and monitor IP docketing systems to ensure all deadlines are metReview and manage IP filings, responses, and legal formalitiesAssist attorneys in IP litigation, enforcement, and portfolio managementAnalyze IP reports and documentation for completeness and accuracyConduct legal research and summarize findings in written memorandaPrepare due diligence materials for corporate transactionsCollaborate with attorneys and staff across practice areasQualifications:Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in IP law, including patent prosecutionExperience with U.S. and international IP filings and proceduresStrong understanding of USPTO processes and deadlinesProficiency in docketing software (e.g., CPI)Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
