    Description

    Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a Program Specialist Trainee to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

    The Program Specialist Trainee assists the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to enhance and promote the independence of the individuals supported.  The Program Specialist Trainee works closely with the Behavioral Health Professional who will provide direction and support in the development and implementation of individual assessments, individual support plans and other associated plans of care, including behavioral support.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
    • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to utilize internal software programs
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Successful completion of required trainings within specified timeframes, including First Aid and CPR certifications and others mandated by regulations
    • Valid Driver’s License with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
    •  Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
