  • Develop, implement, and maintain the overall Naval Combat System Integrated Test, Evaluation, and Acceptance (ITEA) strategy and plan for the program, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead a multifaceted team of Integration & Test Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, software developers, and operational stakeholders, to define test requirements, develop test plans, and execute tests.
  • Oversee the execution of integration and system tests, ensuring timely completion, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the CMS 330 product ITEA program including land based testing through the shipboard test and trials program.
  • Manage the integration of the CMS 330 product to the applicable combat systems.
  • Manage the physical integration of equipment to the ship being conducted by the applicable shipyard.
  • Manage test resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to optimize I&T efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate I&T risks, ensuring proactive risk management and contingency planning.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and post-project reviews to drive process improvements and knowledge transfer.
  • Represent IT&E in project meetings, stakeholder communications, and technical presentations.
  • Management of embedded sub-contractors

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integration & Test for complex ship systems or similar large-scale engineering projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading I&T activities, demonstrating strong project management and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Integration & Test principles and ship systems.
  • Proficiency in I&T planning, execution, and reporting using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Canadian citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience with naval combat systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, NATO STANAG) and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplined and diverse teams
