Job Title: Sr Assoc, Integration/Test Engineering Job Location: Atlantic City, NJ Job Description: Job Description: Client is looking for a Test Engineer to perform system test and troubleshooting on an Air Traffic Control Voice Switching System. This is a large complex communications system vital to air traffic operations and safety. The position interfaces with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is the point of contact to provide technical expertise on test design and requirements verification. Essential Functions: Responsible for testing and troubleshooting system problems on telecommunications systems. Participate in complete software development lifecycle of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and problem resolution Evaluate system requirements in order to create and perform test scenarios Create technical documents and artifacts Become technically proficient on large complex systems Review and interpret existing system/subsystem designs Interface with the FAA customer and provide technical expertise as required Interact and coordinate with engineers in multiple groups such as Systems, Software, Test, Configuration Management and Program Management No travel Shift work on occasion Work in a small team environment to achieve project level goals Perform Test Engineering tasks as assigned by System Test Engineering Group Lead Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related area of study Minimum 2 years of related technical engineering experience Experience in developing, understanding and interpreting technical requirements Ability to develop, understand and interpret technical requirements Must have a good presentation and customer interfacing skills Must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills Must possess strong technical writing skills Ability to acquire FAA Public Trust clearance Must- Haves (Hard Skills): Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related area of study Minimum 2 years of related technical engineering experience Experience in developing, understanding and interpreting technical requirements Ability to develop, understand and interpret technical requirements Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite products Nice-To- Haves (Hard Skills): Prior Voice Switch communication experience advantageous Prior telecommunication experience preferred Experience with electronic test tools such as voltmeter, oscilloscope or telephony measurement tools is advantageous Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts Experience working with organization operating at CMMI, ISO, Agile or equivalent quality standards.
