Integrated STEM Learning Manager

Deadline: August 31, 2026

District/Organization: Pierce Cedar Creek Institute

Position/Type: Other, full time

Salary: $54,000 - $60,000

Position Details

Help students discover that science is not just something they learn about, it is something they experience through the Institute's wild, working, and wonder lands.

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is seeking a creative, collaborative, and mission-driven Integrated STEM Learning Manager to help shape the future of STEM and environmental education in southwest Michigan.

Located on 850 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies, lakes, and working landscapes, Pierce Cedar Creek Institute serves as a living classroom where students, teachers, families, and community members connect with science, stewardship, and discovery. As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary and enter an exciting new chapter, we are looking for an educator who can bridge classroom learning with real-world experiences in nature.

Position Overview

The Integrated STEM Learning Manager serves as the Institute's lead for formal education partnerships and curriculum innovation. This position works closely with school districts, teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, community partners, and Institute staff to develop meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, scientific literacy, environmental stewardship, and lifelong learning.

The ideal candidate is an innovative educator and relationship builder who understands both formal education systems and the power of place-based learning. They are equally comfortable working with teachers, coaching educators, developing curriculum, managing partnerships, and creating new opportunities for students to engage with STEM through authentic experiences. The successful candidate will be committed to creating welcoming learning environments where students, educators, and community members feel a sense of belonging and have meaningful opportunities to engage with STEM and environmental learning.
