Integrated Business Planning Lead (S&OE Workstream)

Department: Supply Chain Reports To: Senior Director, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Location: Tampa (Ybor), FL - On-site 5 days/week Employment Type: Full-Time Level: Manager-level individual contributor (no direct reports)

About Ashley Furniture Ashley Furniture is the worlds largest furniture manufacturer, operating a vertically integrated value chain spanning manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, wholesale, retail, and e-commerce operations. As we continue to scale and optimize our enterprise, we are building world-class planning capabilities to align our entire organization around a single, integrated plan that drives execution excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary The Integrated Business Planning Lead (S&OE Workstream) owns the end-to-end IBP process and governance framework that aligns planning and execution across Ashleys vertically integrated value chain, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce operations. This role is accountable for ensuring that planning processes integrate demand signals, supply capabilities, inventory positioning, and financial implications across all channels and internal manufacturing operations.

You will not own commercial or operational performance; instead, you ensure leaders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce operate from a single, aligned, decision-ready plan that enables effective trade-off decisions at the enterprise level while delivering exceptional customer service.

Two IBP Leads fill complementary roles:

IBP Lead - Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Mid- to long-range planning and alignment (3-24 months) IBP Lead - Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE): Near-term execution alignment and exception governance (0-13 weeks)

Core Responsibilities

IBP Process & Governance Ownership (Enterprise-Wide) Own and operate the Integrated Business Planning operating model across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce

Define and maintain S&OP monthly planning cadence (3-24 months) and S&OE weekly execution cadence (0-13 weeks)

Ensure standardized planning inputs, outputs, timelines, governance forums, escalation paths, and decision rights

Maintain decision logs, assumptions, and action tracking

Note: Functional leaders retain accountability for business outcomes; this role ensures decision-quality planning.

End-to-End Planning Integration Across Verticals and Channels Integrate demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial views across manufacturing and all channels

Align upstream manufacturing plans with downstream Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce demand

Evaluate decision trade-offs, implications, risks, and benefits across channels

Decision Readiness & Scenario Facilitation Translate inputs into gaps, constraints, risks, and scenario-based options with quantified impacts

Facilitate fact-based enterprise decision discussions with cross-functional leaders

Frame trade-offs clearly to enable executive-level alignment and accountability

S&OP Workstream Ownership (Mid-/Long-Range Planning) Own the monthly S&OP process across all channels and ensure approved plans cascade into execution

Collaborate with S&OE workstream to anticipate and incorporate dependencies and impacts

Drive alignment on mid- to long-range planning assumptions and constraints

S&OE Workstream Ownership (Near-Term Execution Alignment) Own the weekly S&OE process to align manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and e-commerce execution

Collaborate with S&OP workstream to anticipate and incorporate dependencies and impacts

Manage near-term execution exceptions, escalations, and real-time trade-off decisions

Ensure execution plans remain aligned with strategic S&OP commitments

Process Performance Management & Continuous Improvement Define IBP process KPIs covering both operational (supply planning, manufacturing, distribution, inventory) and financial (revenue, margin, working capital, budget reconciliation) metrics

Lead retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Partner with IT and Analytics teams to assess and maintain KPI integrity through data and calculation governance

Planning Tools, Data & Enablement Partner with IT and Analytics to ensure tools support integrated enterprise planning

Extract, manipulate, and display data using SQL, Excel, and Power BI

Develop dashboards and reporting to provide transparency across the planning process
