A highly respected plaintiff-side litigation law firm on Long Island is seeking a Legal Intake Specialist to join its growing team.

Job Details

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding new legal matters
  • Gather, document, and organize case information
  • Evaluate and qualify potential cases based on established criteria
  • Maintain detailed notes and records within the firm's case management system
  • Coordinate with attorneys and support staff regarding new matters
  • Follow up with prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all leads and inquiries are handled with urgency and attention to detail

What We're Looking For
  • Prior experience in a law firm, legal intake, customer service, medical office, or call center environment preferred
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate during sensitive conversations
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM or case management software is a plus
