    9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday 

    Momentum is currently seeking an Intake Specialist to support our pediatrics program in Torrance. The Intake Administrator will be responsible for working with parents to assist with new patient inquires for speech, physical, and occupational therapy services.

    Intake Specialist Essential Responsibilities: 

    • Takes all new patient inquiries for occupational, physical, and speech therapy services
    • Meets and coordinates with parents to obtain all applicable documents for therapy
    • Maintains ongoing communication with parents while being placed on the waiting list to keep them updated
    • Maintains and updates client records, keeping system information current
    • Provides reception backup, as necessary
    • Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs

    Intake Specialist Qualifications: 

    • Must be 18 years of age or older; required 
    • High School Diploma or higher; required 
    • Bilingual - English and Spanish; strongly preferred 
    • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in healthcare, medical office, intake, scheduling, or customer service 
    • Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; required
    • Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
    • Able to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds
