Position Summary


The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process. This role is responsible for gathering client information, verifying eligibility, coordinating services, and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities


  •  Serve as the initial contact for new clients via phone, email, and in person 
  •  Conduct intake interviews and collect required documentation 
  •  Enter and maintain accurate client data in systems/CRM 
  •  Verify client eligibility and required information 
  •  Coordinate referrals and service placements 
  •  Communicate with clients, case managers, and external partners 
  •  Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all regulations 
  •  Track intake progress and follow up with clients as needed 
  •  Assist with administrative tasks related to client onboarding 
Qualifications


  •  High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred) 
  •  Previous experience in intake, customer service, healthcare, or social services preferred 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Excellent organizational and data entry skills 
  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Experience with CRM systems, case management software (like Casebook), or similar tools is a plus 
  •  Knowledge of HIPAA compliance is preferred
