Insurance Sales Representative

Our GEICO Local Office is rapidly growing, and we are looking to hire the right individual to fit into our agency. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time Insurance Sales/Service position. You will be responsible to provide exceptional customer service to new prospects, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.

Are you looking to break into the insurance industry? Your base salary will start between $18-$21 per hour and your commissions are expected to be at or above $800 per month.

Are you an experienced sales veteran looking for a change of scenery? Our top earners made over $30,000 in commission last year.

Salary Range: $37000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Make outgoing calls to follow-up prospects' quote requests
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer
• Respond to all inquiries and sales requests within specified timeframe
• Cross sell products to existing clients
• Answer incoming phone calls

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
• Possess or willing to obtain 4-40, 20-44, or 2-20 insurance license
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
• Great Customer Service skills
• Driven and goal-oriented
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
• Bilingual a plus!
