Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, inbound opportunities, and outbound outreach
  • Educate prospects on available insurance products and coverage options
  • Prepare quotes and assist clients through the policy purchase process
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistent follow-up schedule
  • Cross-sell additional insurance products to existing clients
  • Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and opportunities
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the client lifecycle
  • Achieve monthly sales and retention goals while contributing to overall agency growth

Requirements
  • Active Connecticut Property & Casualty License preferred
  • Life & Health License preferred
  • Previous insurance sales experience required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify coverage needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales tools preferred
