West Coast Insurance Brokers is a growing independent insurance agency based in Portland, Oregon. Our team is small, tight-knit, and genuinely invested in doing right by every client we work with.
We're hiring a Renewals CSR to take full ownership of our early-stage renewal pipeline. This is a high-volume, process-driven role built for someone who thrives on structure, works independently, and finds real satisfaction in running a clean queue. You'll be working directly in AgencyZoom and NowCerts our core agency platforms processing renewals across personal lines, commercial auto, and workers' comp.
This role directly supports our licensed Account Manager and frees up senior staff to focus on complex coverage decisions and client relationships. If you're the kind of person who likes coming in, seeing a clear queue, and working it methodically from start to finish this role was built for you.
Salary Range: $3800.00 - $4700.00 per month

Responsibilities
- Process 100150+ renewals per month at the early stage across personal lines, commercial auto, and workers' comp
- Manage the AgencyZoom renewal pipeline daily advance accounts through stages, complete follow-up tasks, and keep the queue current
- Contact clients to gather updated renewal information via email and text; handle standard renewal correspondence from outreach through follow-up
- Run markets through carrier portals for personal lines and commercial auto renewals
- Build renewal proposals for licensed staff to review and present to clients
- Advance accounts through AgencyZoom pipeline stages accurately and on schedule
- Learn the basics of workers' comp audit preparation within your first 90 days
- Escalate non-standard or coverage-altering situations to the licensed Account Manager this role does not make final coverage decisions
Requirements
- Active P&C license or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of hire (required)
- At least one year of experience in an insurance CSR, processing, or account support role (preferred)
- Experience with AgencyZoom or a comparative rater is a strong plus
- Familiarity with NowCerts or a similar agency management system is a plus
- Comfortable managing a high-volume, repetitive workload with accuracy and consistency 100+ renewals per month is the baseline expectation
- Able to work independently and self-prioritize within a defined process this role does not require hand-holding once trained
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through; you complete what you start
- Coachable and systems-minded you follow the established workflow, and you flag when something isn't working
- Solid written communication skills for client-facing emails and texts
