Job Details

A well-regarded insurance regulatory practice is seeking an associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Princeton office. The group advises insurers, reinsurers, holding companies, and producers on a broad range of state regulatory matters. Associates work directly with partners on substantive client matters from day one.

Responsibilities

Rate and form filings across multiple jurisdictions
Insurance licensing and admissions
Market conduct examination support
Holding company act filings and change of control transactions
Regulatory compliance counseling for carriers and producers
Interaction with state departments of insurance, including the NJ DOBI

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
2–5 years of insurance regulatory experience at a law firm, insurance carrier, or regulatory agency
Familiarity with NAIC model laws and multi-state regulatory frameworks
Strong research, writing, and client communication skills
New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania bar admission preferred
