Are you looking to break into the insurance industry but don't have your credentials yet? We are looking for a motivated Insurance Producer in Training to join our team. This is an entry-level "earn while you learn" position designed to take you from a curious candidate to a fully licensed professional.


Your primary focus will be supporting our lead generation efforts and mastering the industry fundamentals while we sponsor your path to licensure.

Salary Range: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Phase 1: The Training Period (Pre-Licensing)

  • Study & Certification: Complete an approved pre-licensing course for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
  • Lead Management: Assist senior agents by proactively contacting leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling discovery calls.
  • Administrative Support: Learn to navigate our CRM software and agency management systems.
  • Shadowing: Observe the sales process from initial pitch to binding coverage to understand client needs analysis.


Phase 2: Transition to Producer (Post-Licensing)

  • Sales Execution: Once licensed, you will transition into a full Producer role, managing your own pipeline and earning uncapped commission.
  • Policy Consultation: Advise clients on Home, Auto, and Commercial options.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet monthly premium targets and build a long-term book of business.

Requirements
  • Ambition: A strong desire to build a career in professional sales.
  • Communication: Clear, confident phone presence and strong writing skills.
  • Commitment: Willingness to study for and pass the state licensing exam within [30/60/90] days of hire.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Clean Record: Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting required for state licensing.
  • Bilingual: fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • Initiative: ability to be proactive, and think outside the box
