Insurance - Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Great opportunity to work with a great company! We area small, family-owned insurance brokerage located in the heart of Newberg in the people business first, the insurance business second. Our mission is to serve every client with care, integrity, and excellence while educating them to make confident, informed insurance decisions. Our office is quickly growing, and we need someone who wants to grow with us! This is a full time in-office role. We require an individual that knows how to exceed customer service standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer incoming phone calls with a sense of urgency.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Responds to all inquiries, within specified timeframe.
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.

• Property & Casualty license preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Tech-savvy, proficient in Word, Excel, and shared drives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong problem solver and quick learner.
• Hardworking and reliable.
