Description Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation (3+ Years' Experience) Boutique Seattle Law Firm | 100% Remote | $135,000-$165,000 DOE About the Firm We are a boutique civil litigation firm based in Seattle, Washington, recognized for our commitment to high-quality advocacy, collaborative culture, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Our practice focuses on complex Insurance Defense matters, and we pride ourselves on providing our attorneys with meaningful opportunities for hands-on litigation experience, autonomy, and professional growth in a supportive environment. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Insurance Defense and is skilled in independently managing a litigation caseload from initial investigation through trial preparation. This role is fully remote, with the expectation of maintaining excellent communication, accountability, and case management. Practice Areas Include: + Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) + Premises Liability + Employment Discrimination + Workplace Harassment + Catastrophic Injury Responsibilities: + Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances. + Prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda. + Develop case strategies and provide clients with clear, concise updates and guidance. + Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. + Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. + Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters while maintaining autonomy on assigned cases. + Meet an annual billable requirement of 1850 hours. Qualifications: + J.D. from an accredited law school. + Active membership in the Washington State Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly). + Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in Insurance Defense. + Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. + Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high professional standards. + Excellent communication and client-service skills. + Proven ability to manage deadlines and caseload efficiently. Compensation & Benefits: + Salary: $135,000 - $165,000, DOE. + 401(k) with 5% Safe Harbor employer contribution. + Profit-sharing program. + Healthcare coverage. + 3 weeks of PTO. + 100% remote work with flexibility and autonomy.
