Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Develop and execute resolution strategies, including risk transfer, dispositive motions, negotiation, ADR, or trial
- Conduct and defend depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal team members
- Contribute to firm‑wide strategy discussions and quality‑review processes
- Support a trial‑ready culture through focused, issue‑driven discovery
Qualifications
- 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience (Partner‑level experience required)
- Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
- Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and client‑management skills
- Portable book of business welcome but not required
