| Job Description |
What you will be doing:- Join a national and international insurance coverage practice.
- Collaborate globally while being based in Austin.
- Handle diverse coverage cases such as excess and surplus lines, general liability, construction defect, D&O, environmental, personal, and advertising injury claims in Texas.
- Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
- Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
- Engage in tasks such as taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, or arguing motions (helpful but not required).
- Participate in significant business development training.
- Work with dedicated associate and partner mentors.
- Engage with a firm-wide associate committee to liaise with partners.
Experience you will need:- 3–8 years of relevant and diverse coverage experience.
- Strong litigation background.
- Experience in analyzing coverage issues and drafting related documents.
- Admitted and in good standing in Texas.
- Additional admissions in other states are a plus.
