Job Details
  • Provide initial coverage analysis and develop case strategy, including drafting coverage position letters and declaratory judgment actions
  • Advise carrier clients on legal options, potential outcomes, and exposure across a national book of business
  • Prepare and respond to discovery; take and defend depositions; draft motions and attend hearings
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex coverage issues
  • Support matters across FMG's national office network as needed

What You'll Bring:

  • Texas Bar admission required
  • Insurance coverage experience required — insurance defense or tort background considered

Working knowledge across some or all of the following:

  • CGL Policies / Commercial Lines Coverage
  • Declaratory Judgment Actions
  • Bad Faith / Extra-Contractual Defense
  • Reservation of Rights
  • Coverage Analysis and Coverage Opinion Letters
