We are a Manhattan based family-owned general contractor with a deep track record of building high-quality affordable and mixed-income housing across New York City.

We're growing our finance team and looking for an Insurance Coordinator who wants to do meaningful work in a tight-knit, hands-on environment.

This is an in-office full-time position based in uptown Manhattan.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractor, supplier, and vendor insurance reviews from start to finish, keeping results organized in a database for easy reference.
  • Collect insurance documents from subcontractors and vendors, and review them to confirm they meet contract requirements.
  • Track policy expiration dates and request renewal documents in time to maintain continuous compliance.
  • Review prequalification forms for insurance and risk, and follow up for any missing or unclear information.
  • Handle certificate of insurance requests from clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate subcontractor enrollment into the company's Contractor-Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP), gathering required documents and ensuring timely enrollment.
  • Review weekly CCIP enrollment reports and follow up on anything missing.
  • Follow established processes, gather documents within set deadlines, and escalate issues promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports.
  • Support other insurance and risk management functions as needed.
