Insurance Bad Faith Defense Attorney
The role involves handling and managing the defense of insurance extra-contractual liability ("bad faith") lawsuits.
You will
- Develop litigation strategies,
- Advise claims management on legal and claims handling practices,
- Manage outside defense counsel,
- Take and defend depositions,
- Attend mediations, hearings, and trials,
- Collaborate with executives and business units on legal and compliance matters,
- Build relationships with internal teams across all levels.
Qualifications include 5+ years of insurance litigation experience, California Bar membership, JD from an accredited law school, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple complex matters independently.
The position offers a salary range of $160,500 - $214,100, plus incentive programs, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive, diverse work environment.
