Location: Raleigh, NC
A growing firm is seeking an Insurance Associate to join its Insurance Practice Group. This role offers hands-on experience in complex insurance litigation and coverage matters, with involvement in case strategy, client interaction, and all litigation phases.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload related to insurance litigation and coverage
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Taking and defending depositions, assisting with hearings and trials
- Collaborating with partners and clients on case strategy
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense/coverage
- Strong research and writing skills
- Top 25% academic credentials
- Experience with motions and discovery management
- Licensed or eligible in North Carolina
