Description:
- $20-24/hour depending on insurance industry experience
- 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
- Agent to pay for Property/Casualty licensing up front, but will be reimbursed for the cost from the team member after 90 days
- Agent to pay 50% of team member’s health insurance plan after 90 days
- Opportunities to earn commission from insurance products sold
Requirements:
- Experience with Outlook, Word and Internet Explorer
- 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
- Hire contingent upon a satisfactory background check
- Hire contingent upon completion/passing of the Property/Casualty pre-licensing courses/exams and state insurance exams 4 weeks prior to working in the office
- Business casual/office attire
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply product knowledge to make recommendations to customers in accordance with their insurance needs
- Prepare and present quotes and close sales, at times in front of the customer or over the phone
- Handle customer service work after the sale
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Agent
