The Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) is seeking a highly qualified Instrumentation Engineering Manager to join our team in Silver Springs, Nevada. POSITION SUMMARY: The Instrumentation Engineer Manager is responsible for leading and supervising a team of instrumentation technicians (and others as required) in the planning, installation, troubleshooting, and performance of quality control checks on a variety of instrumentation packages that may be installed on a myriad of vehicle platforms with the purpose of recording accurate, pertinent, and reliable data during testing and other project-related events. This position also works closely with engineering teams to develop and implement data collection requirements based on customer specifications. The role oversees internal and external instrumentation engineering, sensor calibration, maintenance, and repair, ensuring all instrumentation projects meet NATC and industry standards. This position also provides QA/QC oversight for instrumentation installations, leads procedural and documentation development, and supports research and evaluation of new sensor and data acquisition technologies.
