We Are Seeking
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity to fill the position of Instrumentation & Control Specialist. This is a hands-on, technical role where youll help keep Gilbert's wastewater and reclaimed water systems running safely and efficiently.
As an Instrumentation & Control Specialist, youll support the Towns wastewater and reuse/reclaimed water department by maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Youll collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on the control systems for new Town projects and rehabilitation projects, ensuring systems run safely and efficiently. You'll also assist electrical crews and other departments with troubleshooting, programming, and optimizing control systems that keep Gilbert's infrastructure operating at its best.
The Instrumentation & Control Specialist reports to the Wells Utility Supervisor and is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to safety and service in every task.
What Youll Do:
This is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions for this position include: This role involves working in various environments, including outdoor settings with varying weather conditions, as well as exposure to various environmental hazards, such as fumes, odors, dusts, and chemicals. Physical demands include regular lifting (occasionally up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 20 pounds). The role primarily works four (4) ten-hour days and may be subject to on-call availability.
