My client – a leader in fluid and gas transfer machinery – is seeking an experienced and self‑motivated Electrical / Controls Engineer to join their team at their Atlanta manufacturing facility. This role will focus on the development and design of electrical schematics, control systems, and instrumentation solutions for process control equipment.Electrical / Controls Engineer's role will involveDeveloping electrical schematics, panel layouts, and engineered drawings using AutoCAD Electrical for new and existing process control systems.Specifying electrical and instrumentation components, creating bills of materials, and ensuring designs align with customer specifications, quoted equipment, and applicable code requirements.Collaborating with mechanical teams to integrate instrumentation and controls necessary for system functionality and operational feedback.Providing technical support during fabrication, commissioning, and customer approval processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.Electrical / Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributesBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a similar electrical or controls engineering role.Experience working with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).Strong knowledge of process control instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, and flow devices.Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and control panel design.Ability to develop practical engineering solutions from conceptual designs.Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.For more information about this Electrical / Controls Engineer opportunity, please reach out to Jack Smillie at Jsmillie@pg-rec.com for further details.#J-18808-Ljbffr
