Job Title: Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing)

Location: Canton, GA
Shift: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician for a sterile processing department supporting surgical services. The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and preparing surgical instruments to ensure safe operating room readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Perform decontamination, assembly, and packaging of instrument trays
• Ensure proper tracking and documentation of instruments
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
• Support operating room efficiency through timely instrument turnaround
• Follow all hospital safety and sterile processing protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent sterile processing experience required
• HSPA Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of instrument reprocessing procedures
• Ability to work consistent evening shifts
• Detail-oriented with strong safety compliance awareness
