Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular and specialized work to repair, maintain, and update instruments, control systems, and process control networks used in manufacturing.
- Inspect, repair, and adjust equipment such as:
- Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLCs)
- Human Machine Interfaces ( HMIs)
- Other related systems (using tools like electrical test equipment, diagrams, and blueprints)
- Install or replace instruments such as:
- Flow sensors
- Temperature sensors
- Pressure sensors
- Other similar devices (this may include setting up or programming the devices)
- Install or replace control systems when they stop working, and monitor systems to quickly find and fix problems.
- Install or replace systems such as:
- PLCs
- HMIs
- Variable Frequency Drives ( VFDs)
- Servo drives
- Help improve control systems by:
- Enhancing process performance
- Managing alarms
- Improving operator interfaces
- Support new system installations by working with outside contractors to:
- Ensure programs and updates are properly handed over
- Ensure training is completed
- Help connect and integrate all control system components ( PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, etc.).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three ( 3) years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting.
- Must have proven experience with the following PLCs: Allen Bradley Micrologix or Micro800, CompactLogix & ControlLogix and Siemens Step 7 PLCs.
- Must have proven experience with the following HMI or SCADA programming and configuration.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens VFDs and Servo Drives.
- Must have proven experience with EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, and ASi Industrial Networks.
- Strong PLC skills with expertise in system administrative and maintenance activities, and hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience programming in multiple languages that are IEC 61131-3 compliant, such as ladder diagram, function block diagram, structured text, instruction list and/or sequential function chart.
- Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing.
- Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Food Safety Requirements:
- Report any issues that may impact product quality or food safety
- Perform all duties in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory standards
- Take action to prevent food safety or quality issues
- Identify and document concerns related to materials, processes, or systems
- Stop or control processing or use of nonconforming product until resolved
Shift:
- Overnight Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-Hour Shifts)
- Rotating Schedule: 2 Days On, 2 Days Off - Alternating Weekends Off
- Example:
- Week 1: Sun (Off), Mon–Tues (On), Wed–Thurs (Off), Fri–Sat (On) = 48 Hours
- Week 2: Sun (On), Mon–Tues (Off), Wed–Thurs (On), Fri–Sat (Off) = 36 Hours
Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 ($2 shift differential) Quarterly Bonus Eligible
