Job Summary The School of Language Culture and Society invites applications for one or more fixed-term non-tenure-track fullpart-time Instructor positions for the 20252026 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Director.Instructors may be needed to teach on-campus or Ecampus undergraduate courses in American Sign Language. These appointments are fixed-term non-tenure track with the possibility of renewal beyond the first year at the discretion of the Director.The School of Language Culture and Society includes Anthropology Ethnic Studies World Languages and Cultures and Women Gender and Sexuality Studies Studies. The School has a central focus on global justice with emphases in social and environment justice food insecurity and Latinoa studies.

Key Responsibilities 100 Instruction This position will administer and teach undergraduate courses in American Sign Language. Hold regular office hours to assist students with coursework and answer questions regarding curriculum.
What You Will Need MA or MAT in the language specific to the course being taught education or a related field.Evidence of teaching at the college andor university level.Native or near-native proficiency in English and the foreign language being taught.Availability on short notice.Evident commitment to educational equity.
