This is a grant funded position that is projected to be approved for funding beginning August 18, 2026 through May 2029.
INSTRUCTOR Grant Funded through May 2029 (Annual Salary Range: $50,495.00- $58,936.23
SCOPE OF WORK: To educate students in electrical technology as outlined in the prescribed program curriculum and to provide leadership in development and implementation of departmental and institutional activities that advance the mission of the college. This position shall report to the Chairperson of the Electrical Technologies Department at MCC.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in engineering or technical education. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education shall require an Associate’s degree in a subject area closely related to the teaching assignment.
Experience: Three (3) years of teaching experience in electrical technology, electrical engineering or related course work or six years of business or industry experience directly related to electrical technology or electrical engineering.
OR
Education: Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in major study in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or other technical area closely related to electrical technology.. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education shall require an Associate’s degree in a subject area closely related to the teaching assignment.
Experience: Five (5) years of teaching experience in electrical technology, electrical engineering or related course work or six years of business or industry experience directly related to electrical technology or electrical engineering.
License/Certification: NH Master Electrician license.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: Knowledge of teaching methods and materials, problems and subject matter as relates to course of instruction. Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques and equipment in subjects being taught. Knowledge of educational standards and procedures in the College assigned. Ability to work effectively and secure the cooperation of others. Ability to maintain comprehensive records of the progress and development of the individual students. Evidence of good professional attitude. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college’s appointing authority.

Ability to maintain comprehensive records of the progress and development of the individual student. Evidence of consistent satisfactory professional attitudes.
